The Cernier Company (CERN) will be turning on the Large Hadron Collider this summer of 2008.
300 ft underground in a 17-mile ring, protons will be colliding 30 million times a second at 99.999…% the speed of light in an effort to recreate energy that only existed when the universe was thousandths of a second old, which will supposedly enlighten us about many secrets of the universe. But, maybe it will do nothing or maybe it will destroy us.
There is no way of being sure that any black holes created in this process will decay. There is no way of knowing what will happen when this energy is suddenly reborn. There are so many unknowns, but we are pushing forward in the spirit of discovery. But never before has so much been at stake.
More than $8 billion has gone into the creation of this massive experiment, it involves a magnet 100,000 x the strength of the earth’s magnetic field, it’s 17 miles around, and it’s being run by 5,000 physicists.
Let’s hope all of their theories are correct.
Keep your fingers crossed this summer.

How Many Passes Does The Team In White Make?
Hi.
Hello.
How are you?
I’m fine, and how about you?
That’s good. That’s good. I’m fine too.
What is it you like to do?
I hang with my friends and I eat food.
What a coincidence, me too, me too!
What did you dream for your life when you were a child? With each day we must fight harder to stave off mediocre dreams. What do you want to do when you grow up? What experiences would you like to have before your dirt?
Some of the most successful people in the world do an exercise called dreamlining. This the best way to actualize your dreams. Don’t be scared. Don’t bound yourself in. Don’t be practical.
Step 1: List 5 things you would like to have.
Step 2: List 5 things you would like to be.
Step 3: List 5 things you would like to do.
Step 4: List the costs to achieve what you want to have.
Step 5: List the things you have to do to be what you want.
Step 6: List the costs to do what you want to do.
Step 7: List the costs of doing what you have to do to be what you want to be.
Step 8: Add all of the costs together.
Step 9: Figure out your current monthly expenses and multiply them by 1.3 and add that figure to the total of step 8. This figure is your TMI (Target Monthly Income). That is how much you need to earn a month to reach your goals in 6 months.
Step 10: If you take your TMI and divide it by 30, that is your TDI (Target Daily Income).
Step 11: List immediate steps you can take.
Step 12: List steps you can take tomorrow.
Step 13: List steps you can take the day after.
Step 14: You should take some time each day to evaluate what you have accomplished and plan another day out.

This plan for dreamlining was based on The Four Hour Work Week by Timothy Ferris.
I would really like to know some of your dreams. If you read this, please comment with some dreams you have.
I can smell the dirt here is moist and settling amongst the roots of the loblolly pines and live oaks. I dig with my hands and run my fingers through the earth. Mixing with the night air it turns to perfume and dances up past my face. Hiking between the old giants that whisper overhead and hold hands underground, we go silently. Through the natural crowd is our spot between the ponds. This is my home away from home. I sleep at peace on this moonlit ground.
Do you think you are the most aware person you know? When I was little I went through spells of thinking how everyone else was just a robot; and the world was put here solely for my amusement. I can’t specify what made me stop thinking this. Perhaps it was all of the consequences I would run into when I would do things like tease the dog. No, that is not an innuendo.
